Richard Grady, Director
Richard has over 22 years’ experience in the sport and community sectors. Prior to establishing Consult QRD, he worked in management consultancy roles for Capita Symonds and Sports Solutions; in a project management and development position for the London Borough of Ealing; and for the Football Foundation in a grant assessment role.
He has developed and delivered a range of projects and has a keen understanding of the importance of considering not only capital but also ongoing revenue affordability as part of the decision making process . His experience on a range of residential and commercial developments, working for both developers and local authorities means that he fully appreciates the importance of balancing community benefit with commercial viability.
Richard is responsible for the overall direction of Consult QRD, leading our relationships with clients, and oversight of all outputs.

Simon Wood, Associate
Simon has spent over 21 years’ working in strategic positions for grant funding agencies and sports National Governing Bodies.
With a track record of adapting to an ever changing sporting landscape, managing complex projects and effective forward planning, he has strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
His project experience encompasses collaborative working across the public, education and voluntary sectors.
